FREIGHTLINER CASCADIA CABIN AIR FILTER LOCATION:
- Open the hood of your Cascadia truck and locate the engine air filter housing on the passenger side.
- Directly next to the engine air filter housing, you’ll find the cabin air filter housing – it’s slightly smaller and rectangular in shape.
- Remove the access panel by releasing the clips or fasteners.
- Pull out the old cabin air filter – be sure to note the airflow direction printed on the filter frame.
- Insert the new P609422 cabin air filter and reseal the housing with the cover.
✅ This filter is often overlooked during maintenance but plays a crucial role in driver comfort and interior air quality. Replacing it regularly ensures optimal HVAC performance.
WHEN TO REPLACE YOUR FREIGHTLINER CASCADIA CABIN AIR FILTER:
- Every 15,000 to 25,000 miles, or as recommended by your truck’s maintenance schedule.
- If you notice reduced airflow through your cabin vents.
- When there’s an increase in interior dust or odors.
📌 Note: Freightliner Cascadia trucks, starting in 2019 and newer, have additional filters inside the cabin. You can find that filter replacement by clicking here.
